Candidates Offer Dueling Health Plans
10/07/08
From the Philadelphia Bulletin:
As the 2008 election moves into its final weeks, Sen. Barack Obama's
campaign unleashed two ads in quick succession criticizing Sen. John
McCain's health-care reform proposal.
Both Sens. McCain and Obama have outlined
proposals for reforming America's health-care system. The one thing
they agree on is that the system needs reform. After that, their
proposals are very different. Mr. Obama's plan stresses more government
control, while Mr. McCain's program is oriented toward giving consumers
more choice.
